Canterbury line boring Ltd started in March 2004. After my wife and I moved back from Western Australia.
We have been providing onsite line boring and engineering services to the South Island ever since. We started out mainly onsite line boring but now have a workshop based in Hornby where we have the ability to provide in-house.
Machining on lathes and milling machines, rebuilding of components, all types of certified welding and general engineering repairs to heavy equipment, we also manufacture new pins and supply hardened bushes.
Over the past 18 years we have taken on a lot of very difficult projects for our clients and always try our very best to provide a high standard of work.

Workshop facilities include lathes, milling machine, 80 ton press, 400 ton press brake.
Portable welding and gouging services. Portable thermal lancing for removing seized parts. We have a 580amp Lincoln welder for all portable welding.
